E-Statements: Convenient, Safe, Cost Saver - Saves Resources
E-Statements are an essential part of your efforts to keep your confidential account information not only out of your mailbox, but out of the hands that would steal your identity. The service is free and the benefits to you and the Credit Union are many. You receive your account statements faster, within the safety and security of our online banking site, Connect@Home, via our web site. You can review them and save them for future reference - and no longer have to keep all that paper on file for years and years - for your records. We all win when fewer resources are used (i.e. paper, fuel for vehicle and airplane transportation of mail, etc...). And, your Credit Union saves money from not having to mail the old paper statements. The more members that sign-up for E-Statements, the better, allowing more resources at Prevail to go to other beneficial services for you. To sign-up, you can do it all from inside our online banking site, Connect@Home. If you are not a Connect@Home user yet, please call us during business hours to obtain a password to access this convenient service. Sign-up must be completed by the 26th of the month to receive your most current statement. Log onto Connect@Home, under the Services Menu click on E-Statements and follow the on-screen directions to get setup. You will also need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. There is a link for Acrobat reader free download on the Connect@Home site. |

Bill Payer - Convenient and Fast!
Pay your bills online the easy way, with Prevail CU's Bill Payer service through Connect@Home. Available to all Prevail Credit Union checking account holders through their use of Connect@Home, the Credit Union's free online banking service. Simply "click-on" the item marked "Bill Payment" on the left side of the Connect@Home screen (please be aware, if you have "pop-up" blocker, it will prevent you from seeing the appropriate information) once you are in your account. Sign-up by following the directions - it's easy! Bill Payer is really a remarkable service. It allows you to input your bill payment directions on the system to pay one or more bills you need to pay and it doesn't debit the money from your account until the due date you input. Save the money you spent on stamps, and have peace of mind knowing you can pay your bills anywhere you have online access. Enjoy Bill Payer! (Note: Modest fee is only assessed when you do not use it at least once every monthly cycle [i.e. 30 days from your sign-up start date]. Ask for details. Enjoy the convenience!) |

New SIGN-ON Security for Online Banking via Connect@Home
Over the next few weeks, you will gradually start to see prompts when signing onto our online banking service, called Connect@Home. The prompts will ask you to register onto a new layer of additional security. This new layer of security is called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). It is being added to add protective measures to protect against fraudulent online attacks, like "Phishing" (aka malicious requests for your personal information). Here's what Multi-Factor Authentication means to you.
1. You will register and select an image and phrase known only to you for future sign-on approval.
2. There will be VISIBLE AUTHENTICATION - images you will see, so that you are certain it is the Credit Union's online banking site you are entering.
3. There is INVISIBLE AUTHENTICATION - where the security layer recognizes your home and/or work PC (it can recognize more if needed).
4. In addition, there is SUPPLEMENTAL AUTHENTICATION - which will only be necessary in instances where you use a new PC, or one that your MFA does not recognize, etc..., and then you will be asked a secret question that you registered to respond to. Once authentication is complete, you will be able to proceed.
It's easy to complete the registration. We ask for your patience as this new process is begun. Ultimately, the few moments you take to register for MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION (MFA), the better protected you will be. We hope and trust you see the value in taking these measures to add to your current protection for online banking at the Credit Union. Thank you.

Sign-up for E-NOTICES, the Faster Way to Get Urgent Messages
You can receive time-sensitive notifications faster now by signing up for E-NOTICES. There are 3 specific notices that are available using E-NOTICES:
1. Certificate of Deposit Maturity Notices
2. Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Notices
3. Past Due Payment Notices
Keep these urgent messages out of your outside mailbox and receive them fast and conveniently within our online banking service, Connect@Home.

Prevail Credit Union's RX SAVER CARD Available Now!
Here on our web site, please review our newest offering to help you and your family save money at participating pharmacies. It is a pharmacy discount card we call the Preval RX Saver Card. It is primarily for those that do not have health care insurance that helps cover some of the costs of prescriptions. However, even if you have health care insurance, you might be able to use the RX Saver Card in some instances. Please go to our home page, at lower right of the central picture and you'll see a blue button titled, RX SAVER CARD. Click there and you may print out your own RX Saver Card and use it immediately. Please be aware it may be used only at participating pharmacies state and nationwide. An online web link is forthcoming to help you find participating pharmacies, but we have named several big name pharmacy outlets to assist you from our introduction page. If you have any questions, you may call the number on the back of the RX Saver Card that you print out. One card is good for your entire family, yet you may print a card out for each if you wish. Please review the frequently asked questions (FAQ's) and read more ABOUT THE CARD on this web site. Enjoy saving money on prescriptions when you are able to use the card. Discounts vary by prescription and medication. There's no way to tell you how much you'll save, but you will save some money whenever the card is used.
